June 30th-Berlin

We had a great day.  We started off by going up I'm the TV tower to get a whole view of Berlin. The tower is 203 meters high and gives you a 360 degree view. Then we headed over to the Alte National Museum to see the new exhibit of impressionism/expressionism art. It was one of the best art exhibits I've seen. They compared but movements side by side and displayed it by genre.  There was a huge article on it in the New York Times last month, so I was really hoping we would be able to see it. We toured some of the neighborhoods and stopped for lunch at the bier garden in the Tier garden. We shopped at the huge department store KaDeWe, swam in the hotel pool and had a great dinner at a rotisserie restaurant. There is a great view from our hotel room.
