Bonjour from Paris!  We arrived yesterday by train and took a cab to our apartment in the 7th arr.  The apartment is wonderful and the weather couldn't be better. Who would have thought we would be cooling off on this trip in Paris during July. Last night we had dinner at a very small bistro Constant Cafe. We walked the boys over to the Eiffel Tower, but the lines were too long to go up.  We going to try again later this week. Then we walked along the Seine.   This morning after rallying the boys we headed over to the Rodin Museum, The Pantheon, and a small 3 course meal at Josephine Chez Dumont.  Ugh-it's 10:00 pm and I'm still full from lunch. Max and I both had the duck confit and Don felt the need to order a bottle of Bordeaux. It was excellent.  The shot of Grand Marnier the waiter brought with my souffle was a little over the top for me. On the way to lunch we walked through Luxemborg Garden.  Max insisted on stopping to rest "his puppies."  We stopped at the huge gourmet market at Au Bon Marché.  Don picked out all sorts of treats to snack on tonight and for later in the week. We walked over 6 miles today. The apartment is so comfortable we've stayed in this evening, just relaxing with the windows open. Tomorrow-The Louvre!
