Another fun day. We went to the Rijksmuseum and the dutch resistance museum. Max claimed that the Rijksmuseum is his favorite museum so far. In the afternoon Don was joined us. We had a snack and then toured the Ann Frank House. We went to Restaurant As for dinner. It was set in an old cathedral with the whole kitchen set outside. Exceptional food. The chef used to work at Chez Panisse so it had a California vibe to it- All fresh and local product. The boys tried Herring and then had Don finish the rest. It's definitely an acquired taste.
Herring! Now we're talking. One of my most memorable meals was a herring dinner in Copenhagen where the herring was prepared 5 different ways. Yum.
